Matariki Wiki

Matariki celebrations have begun at May Road School! This week we have lot's of learning to do about Matariki! 

We kicked off the week by working with our buddy class - Room 10 to make some delicious fried bread and origami stars!

  3. Talofa lava! It's Rikki-Lee. I think these are very creative pieces of origami. Were the Matariki Stars hard to make? Because when I do origami I sometimes mess up but I fix it. Good Job keep up the Spectacular work!!

  6. Hi Room 15. I'm a student at Grey Main school and I really like the origami stars. The colours you chose for them are cool but my favourite is green. Do you do a lot of origami in your class? I sometimes try origami with my sisters but I always end up giving up. My sisters are good at it.
